Information you provide

Beta applications collect your name, email, console and mobile platforms, experience, optional motivation, consent and submission time. Contact messages collect your name, email, subject and message. We do not request console passwords.

How we use it

We use application information to review beta eligibility, manage testing and communicate approved next steps. Contact information is used to review and respond to inquiries. Applying does not automatically grant access.

Hosting, email and security records

Our hosting and email service providers process information needed to operate the website and deliver communications. Administrator access and decisions are logged. Submission throttling uses keyed identifiers derived from the connection address. Hosting logs may contain IP addresses and request metadata.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses a session cookie for form security and administration. We do not use advertising trackers or marketing cookies. When visitor analytics is enabled, we record pages visited, referring website hostnames, device category and approximate IP-based city, region and country. IP addresses are sent to ipwho.is to resolve approximate locations; the analytics database stores a keyed identifier instead of the raw IP address. Location is approximate, not device GPS. The tracker respects supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals and does not collect form contents. Analytics uses the existing session cookie to group visits.

Retention and requests

We retain information for as long as needed to review applications, manage beta participation, respond to inquiries and maintain security. We may retain records where needed to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. Contact command@simsteadcommand.com to request access, correction, withdrawal, communications opt-out or deletion. We may verify that the request belongs to you.

This policy covers the Simstead Command website and beta application process. Information about mobile app data handling and permissions will be provided with the app.
